We are dedicated to helping you and your pet during critical situations with compassion and respect!
Our veterinarian and at least three technicians are on duty every day, Tuesday through Saturday, and are trained to handle any urgent care needs your pet has. Examples of emergency situations include sago palm poisoning, being hit by a car, or ingesting chocolate. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment, do not hesitate to call us at 904-388-3494, or come in immediately.
If you bring your pet in for emergency services, Dr. Rossi and our staff may want to run diagnostic tests such as blood work, urinalysis or X-Rays. These tests are important, as they help our staff pinpoint your pet’s exact problem, thereby ensuring the most concise diagnosis and treatment possible. These tests will increase you charges, and you are free to refuse them.
If we are closed or otherwise unable to assist you in an emergency, we recommend BluePearl Emergency and Specialty Pet Hospital. You can reach BluePearl at 904-646-1287.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening, but you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment. Our staff will work to “squeeze” you in between scheduled appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait in order to be seen.
